It comes from the eyes of God. The God in question is Tawhirimatea.

             Mostly in late June or early July.


  1. What part of the sky does Matariki appear in?

It appears in the Eastern sky. Northern east sky


  1. What does the article say Matariki is time for?

This is a time for coming together with whānau (family) to think about the past year, plan for the future, and to take action.

It is quite obvious that I have the role of Waipunarangi. For example I mostly do a house tour to my Mum’s/Dad’s and my friends. This means I am kind? We can therefore see that I have the role of Waipunarangi.
